ABB OPC server

Hey there,

I`d need some help about ABB OPC server.
I have a robot program and I would like to have a shared variable, which I can write from a NI LabView program. (I have a vision system working in LB). I need to transfer some data to the robot through OPC server.

I have a variable like this:
PERS num weld_x;

and I cant write this, BUT I can read a same one to Labview. So the question is, this is the correct variable type or not? Why I cant write data to this var?

I`m trying also with the Matricon OPC explorer, and nothing.

Can someone tell me something about this, or at least some path on internet where I can get some manual for the OPC server.
