Attaching wire feeder to robot?

Hi,

I want to attach wire feeder to my robot but it seems like that normal attach won’t work for that. I tried to search related topic but didn’t find any or used wrong words. So can it be done and if, how?

Hi,

Yes it can be done:

• Expand the robot you should attach to in the Layout browser.
  

  

• Drag the object that should be attached to the link it should be attached to. Do not update the position if the part already is placed correctly in the space.

i usually place the wire feeder in the right position using the holes on the robot as references and then drag and drop the library direct on the Link3 of the robot mechanism.
