# Back up a s4+ Robot

I’m using robotstudio Ver 5.12 on the new IRC5 controllers

The question is can I backup an old S4+ controlller with the same software or will I need to use a FTP client software package..

Hi Dave,  
RobotStudio 5.xx is only compatible with IRC5 systems. So for your S4+ system you need to use a FTP client.
