is it possiblew to change the colour of a path??
i would like to be able to se all my pathes in the window but in different colours.

No that is not possible.
Actually it is 
You can set color for the move instructions that make up the path.
To set the color for an entire path, select all move instructions in the path and click Modify → Set Color.
