I have found Robot Studio2008 is working properly in desktop machine while not working in laptops. The OS’s are same in both. I have not found any additional hardware setup needed in the installation guide. I just followed it. help me out , please..!!!

Whitch problems do you have on your laptop?
I would suggest that you switch to Direct3D found under graphics

Thanks for your response. What I stated above is certain functions are not working in my RS2008. For eg:- 3D modelling, creating work object, creating surface etc.Tried clicking function button several times, its not opening the dialogue/parameter box. I have found similar problems given in this forum which is related to dual core processors. I am using a dual core processor and tried again by changing its bios as well as processor settings to single core. Still not working. Is this problem really related to dual core processors or something else? How can I solve it? My friend had the same problem with dual core processors and he changed to single processor(P4, desktop) and working well. what will be the posible reasons for this problem?

Hi,
I am not aware of this problem. But it sounds like a problem with the localization resources. Try to change your “Regional Settings” of your PC to English - US and see if that helps.
