After Upgrade to RS 5.14 all my events in eventmanager runs 2 times. First very slow and then as wanted in transition time.
I’m using the cell showen in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnks-xjI2GI
Now i have made a small test cell and it do the same.
see video.

Yes but it should still work in manual when i trick my output in IO simulation. IT worked in 5.13.
I have now find put that if trasition time is set to 0 sec. in my mecanishme it works fine but if time is 0.1 sec it runs 2 times. Soo it must bee a bug in Mecanishme and not in eventmanager
Hi Klaus,
It seems to be a bug in 5.14 when you control the mechanism with the Event Manager and the simulation is not running.
I will report this problem.
I have tried your test cell but can’t see that the transition time works when i trick my output.
I have also tried the duration time in the SC but cant see any difference.
I have now add to linesensors. Linesensor_Front & Linesensor_Back.
When i Activate my signal i manuel my cylinder runs without time transition and i get no senseout signal from linesensors even they both have activate signals.
If i run simulation it works fine.
Before SC i made the same in eventmanager.
My outputsignale activate an event that run my Mecanism to pose. At end off pose i had a dummypart(sensor) and a collisiondetect. The colissionevent activatet my DI in the robotcontroller. That worked in both manual and in simulation mode.
I can see many new posibility in SC…greate tool but it have to work same way in manual as in auto(simulation)
To get Smart Components to work correct the simulation must be running.
To run the robot in manual mode you can deselect the robot system from the simulation. See this thread: http://forums.robotstudio.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4939
