# OPC Smart component

Hello i’m new here. I had wrote in previous post that there is a new component development that could let us create a virtual opc connection beetwen robotstudio offline sistem and plc opc server. is this true? how can we get a demo version of this new product?

Here is the OPC Smart Component.  
But be aware of that this is a non supported, unofficial component.

I have tested the OPC smart Component in start og this year, It worked fine.Is it the same SC Anders or is it newer then the one i tetsted?

is there again a newer version of OPC smart component which supports a higher number of IO connections between robot signals and opc signals?

Hello, no there isn’t. I don´t know for the moment when it will be available.
