We ve ordered pickmaster 3 with digital hardware option.

  • MVS 8100D

  • Digital cmos camera CDC200

I wonder if c-mount adaptor is included in Pickmaster package or i need to order it with lens.

Yes,

The lens cap can be devided to cap and adaptor.

We’ve ordered a C-mount type lens and it says in ABB’s document that C-mount type lenses compatible with an adaptor. I’ve asked my lens supplier and they don’t sell any adaptor. So the question is Pickmaster package includes the adaptor for C-mount lenses or not?

Yes the adaptor is included with the cdc200 camera.

The adaptor is a simple 5mm thick metal ring which is screwed onto the camera’s plastic protection cap when the camera is delivered.

Unscrew the ring from the protection cap and mount it between the camera and the lens.

A small remark: We are using this adapter ring together with Goyo lenses. The diameter of the adapter is, at least in that lens, about 0,2mm to small and needs to be somewhat modified. Apart from that it’s working ok.
