I am busy with a flex picker installation for sausages for ABB SA, everything is working fine except for the placing of the sausages, they have set up the placing layers and patterns but it always seem to run the same one irrespective of the model being run. How can we set the system up to place different patterns for different models?
Another issue is that we need feedback from the patterns to tell us that the pattern is complete and that we can index the conveyor, where would you get this feedback from.
There is no automatic connection between the model and which pattern to select in the container.
What people usually do is to have different project for different products, since you usually only run one product at the time.
Create a project for product A that only consists of an A model an a corresponding A pattern.
Then you create a new project for product B with the B model and the B pattern.
