Problem running 5.14.03 and 5.15

Hello,

I cannot get Studio to run correctly on a 64 bit windows 7 laptop. v5.14.03 will run, but freezes or locks up whenever you try to access any geometery or abb library quck tabs. It acts like it cannot find the correct folder, or slow to access it.

I cannot get 5.15 to run at all. It errors before opening.

Both problems may be related to issues with the folder “C:ProgramData”. It is hidden by default, but you can make it visible just to ensure it is there.

Open Windows Explorer. Click Organize / Folder and Search Options / View Tab. Select the Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives option and click Apply/OK.

The folder should appear in the root of the C drive.

Have you done a standard installation or Windows 7, or is it an upgrade? Have you done any other customization?

Thanks for your reply. The folder is there, but only contains :

–an error logs folder containing several error logs
–an empty folder called “RobAPI”

C:ProgramDataABB Industrial ITRobotics IT - path

What files should be in these folders?

I have a modified version of windows used exclusively by my company. There may be many modifications, but I’m not fully aware of the details.
