# RobInstall Failure to execute tar or comp

Hi I am in need of reinstalling the system on an really old S4C plus controller. I have a backup and the correct robotware on my pc.
I create a new system from the backinfo files in the backup and when i try to download to the controller, I get the following Error message: “Failure to execute tar or comp”.
Has anyone any solution for this problem

Robinstall worked on another laptop. Something must be blocking the tar and comp programs on mine.
