I’ve been testing RS5.15 on W7 in a virtual machine. It was not so fluently but it works ok.
Some days ago I bought a new laptop with W8 and installed the RS5.15 on it.
I have just realized that there are some functions not available. Such as ‘View Robot at Target’ or ‘Jog Linear’.
At the beginning I though that it could be a configuration error, but now I think it is an issue with Windows 8.
Could anyone confirm problems of RS5.15 on W8?
Are there any way to fix it?

Windows 8 is one of the recommended operating systems that RobotStudio is tested on. I am not aware of any limitations specific to Windows 8. Both functions you refer to are dependent on a running virtual controller being connected to your robot. Anyway, I will cross-check to verify that the functions are supported in Windows 8.
ok, It seems you are right.
In the previous installation I should follow a tutorial creating a “Station with Robot Controller”. And now I was simply creating a “Empty Station”.
My fault.
