Hello all,

I have the same problem as Alvaro (in this thread: [https://forums.robotstudio.com/discussion/12741/rs-closes-when-inserting-irc5-controller](https://forums.robotstudio.com/discussion/12741/rs-closes-when-inserting-irc5-controller) ). However, my antivirus is not blocking anything and I did get an exception in the log.

Here is is:

----EXCEPTION BEGIN----

I’d appreciate any help resolving this.

Thanks,

Hello there!

I would suggest trying a clean uninstallation & reinstallation of RobotStudio first.

1. In your computer, go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps → RobotStudio → Press the 3 dots on the right → Choose Modify.
2. Click on Uninstall and click Next
3. Check the box Clean Uninstall in the uninstallation wizard and click on remove.
