RW Plastics Mould on Virtual IRC5

Dear all,

Some tips for running RW Plastics Mould on the Virtual IRC5:

  • For RW5.06 the system containing RW Plastics Mould needs to be saved in the Mediapool. For 5.07 the system containing RW Plastics Mould can be placed anywhere.

  • Do not forget to set-up the User Authorisation with RobotStudio Online, and to log in as authorised user on the FlexPendant.

  • In Virtual IRC5, to run a program containing an IMM station the following digital in signals have to be set high: diEjec_BackPos, diEjec_ForwPos, diEn_OPMode, diMouldClosed, diMouldOpenPos. Run in Manual mode, then machine movement will be simulated automatically, you just need to acknowledge the simulation.

  • Test to switch languages of RW Plastics Mould: On the Flexpendant, open ABB menu/ Control panel/ Language. Change language and Warm start the VIRC5.
