When I run my project I get an alarm because current format selected (0) does not exist. I only have one format, is there a way to skip format selection in these cases?

Yes, if you only have one format per item, you do not need to set the I/O value for the format. If you have more then one format per item, you will need to define them with an I/O value in the format screen, and the input value will have to match.
If you are getting an error, you could have multiple formats by mistake. To make sure you do not have an extra format, go into the format screen, click organize, and make sure you only have one format listed.
Strange, I have checked my formats in Organize and there is only one per item. If I try to delete the I/O value in the format screen, the value will appear again next time I open the screen.

If you have only one format and product on an infeeder, you can omit the format and product selection signals in the work area configuration.
If you don’t, you have to acknowledge with the requested format and product value.
