Are standard VB Timers supported in the SDK?

Yes they are.
The FlexPendant SDK use either .NET Compact framework 1.1 or 2.0(RW 5.07). So in the documentation for .NET Framework it tells you if the class is supported in .NET Compact Framework also if so you can use that class.
