# Unable to stop static background task using Robot Web Services

Hi all,

I am trying to stop a static background task to upload new modfiles to the task through Robot Web Services. Unfortunately I am unable to stop the the task using Robot Web Services, I have tried using the post request shown on this page:

But only normal tasks seem to stop when executing the request.  
I have tried setting the usetsp parameter to alltsk and made sure the static task was activated in the taskpanel, but I have had no luck stopping the static background task.

I would like to know how to solve this.
