Hello All,

Is it possible for a user to change the software in a 354 board to make it into a 377.

I have the information on how to upgrade the software in a 377 is it the same process to put the 377 software into a 354 board?

Thanks

Yes, it is possible to upgrade a 354 into a 377 the same way as an upgrade of a 377 is performed. However, due to earlier experience, we strongly recommend to relabel the encoder so that the label matches the actual software on the encoder board.

Kind Regards,

Erik

Thanks for that Eric.

I will give it a try.

Hi,

I managed to flash the 377 code into a 354 card. It now works as a 377 card.

Thanks

Hello all, I have updated the document for upgrading the firmware on a 354 board, slight difference in power up sequence.[2006-09-20\_174736\_DSQ377\_Software\_Download\_Instructions\_upda ted\_for\_354\_board.zip](http://forums.robotstudio.com/webwiz/mikemetcalfe/2006-09-20_174736_DSQ377_Software_Download_Instructions_updated_for_354_board.zip)
