When i try and Sync to VC i get an errror message and nothing is synced.
Please se below in the attached RS screenshot…I have NO ide of what this error means
I also get this message when i start RS and click on the message in the output window
I have realiced that this problem is happened after i have installed RS on Win7 64 bit
When i install RS iut want to use the mapC: programfiles(x86)
but i want to use the old fashioned C:programfiles.
can this have anything to do with the problem???
Hello Kent,
As long as the path to your mediapools is correct it should be OK. Check your “program.id” file in the system (INTERNAL folder) and make sure the paths correspond to the actual location on your PC.
If problems persists, I think we need to check your station to find the cause of this sync problem. Please get in touch with your local ABB service representative so they can forward your issue to tech support.

I have another problem too..
When i open RS and the folders with my stations i can see them all…but some has like a lock on them in the win 7 64 bit.
if I open the same folder through explore i CANT see the same stations..like they arent there.
I have “show hidden folders” activated so that shouldnt be the problem.
I really affraid that if i make a reinstallation of RS that the stations that i cannot see through explore will be lost , wich at the present moment will be catastrofical for me right now and i would lose weeks of programming

As Anders write you need to change Program.id so it points to the mediapool.
