50420: Underrun in the Axis computer

Anyone know what could cause the error 50430: Underrun in the Axis computer?

The robot is idle, and the only thing running is a simple background task.

We have installed 4 new robots to a production line with 9 robots running.

The 9 “old” robots, which runs RW 6.01.0123, are all fine.. But atleast 2/4 new robots, which runs RW 6.03.00.00, is getting this error.

All 13 robots are running the same background task when idle, so I don’t understand why 2 of them should have any problems with it.

We hade the same problem with one irb 6700 RW 6.03 this summer. The advice we got from abb was to check that earthing for any in/out going cabels was done correctly. Also tryid to change the maine computer but nothing workt. After we moved the cell to the customer the error has only appeard like 2-3 times and always after a short time after power up. And also the error appeard the most time when the cell was stoped and robot in stoped state.

It is probably caused by disturbances on the LAN cabling. If LAN cable is routed close to the drive module/cables or process cables, problems like this could occur.
