Anyone tried to communicate with a IRC5 Robot using a AB MicroLogix 1400 using Ethernet IP?

Hi,

Are you using the FieldBus adapter or the Master/Slave connector?
Is the Micro Logix 1400 similar to the RS Logix 5000?

Hi,

I am almost sure that only the compact logix and control logix family are “real” ethenet IP controller. The ethernet port on the Micrologix 1400, SLC 500/5 for example, are only for programming or communication whit a HMI.

Confirm whit your Rockwell distributor!
