Can I have a pratical case?

I am confused a long time with how to use “Visual Studio Tools for Applications”.I just build a new project,then how to ?Because of not achieving some fuctions of ourselves,I need to use the “Add-Ins”.But till now,I am not using.Can I have a pratical case?Would anybody provide a example?Or tell me some basic use? Thank you!

You will find some examples under the ‘Contents’ tab in APIDocumentation.chm.

On my machine this is in ‘C:Program FilesABB Industrial ITRobotics ITRobotStudio 5.12Help’

Select

VSTA->File->New Project->Visual C#->RobotStudioSample->SampleRobotStudioAddIn.

Then

Build->Build SamplRobotSTudioAddin

Go to RS

In the AddIn tab, you see the sample menu and in the browser you will see the sample macros if you browse to the current addin.
