Configuring IOs and transmission protocols over RWS (?)

Is it possible to configure IO signals and transmission protocols (e.g. UDPUC) on a controller using RWS?

As IO and networks are set up in configuration files, then it should be possible using CFG Service in RWS.
Most probably reboot is required after any change to CFG.
