Conveyor Tracking with IRB5400

Hi

I was setting up a convery system for IRB5400 and saw a warrning saying :

“The workobject will never connect since the Start Window Width is 0! Please change the value in the ‘Configure Conveyor Encoder Unit’ dialog”

When I checked “conveyor encoder units” Start window width was indeed 0. I checked forums and release notes for painting power pack 6.0 and learned that it is a bug. However solutions wasnt helpful in my case. I cant change start window width from conveyor encoder configuration or earlier version of Painting Power Pack. Is there any work around for this issue or anything that I can try.

Create your station in RobotStudio 5.61 and set your encoder values, then you can run it in 6.0 but once saved in 6.0 you can’t go back to 5.61 so make sure you set your encoder values correctly.

I’m surprised ABB actually released version 6 at all with this fault which makes it impossible to set up conveyor tracking…
