I’m newer to ABB robot programming, I’m looking for some information as to what Autostop is and what Guards top is. Along with how they are different from each other.
Guard stop is when the controller is in manual mode and the enable switch is not in the active (motors on/middle) position.
Auto-stop is one of the protective stop modes when the controller is in Auto (Auto-stop, General Stop, Superior stop). The Auto-stop circuit only stops the robot in Auto mode, General and Superior stop circuits stop the robot operating in both manual and auto mode.
