External axis setup

Hi friends

i am trying to setup an external axis (track) in X-Y direction for 6600 robot in robotstudio .

i dont have a readily available track for this in library
so i had used create mechanism option in robotstudio to create external axis, and made X-Y track.

now i am not able to build a system with this external axis(gives unknown error )

can someone help me how to create a system for X-Y motion external axis and robot

You need to contact ABB and request an Additional Option Mediapool that supports your 2D track.

i will try to contact ABB for the additional mediapool .

meanwhile is there any chance of getting the backup of the robots with X-Y or X-Y-Z track motion .

if someone using the robot with track motion kindly send me the backup of the robot.

Hello Raj!

My name is Classe Filander and I work in the RobotStudio development team. Rigt now I am actually working on a configuration tool in RobotStudio to set up external axes. The tool is not ready to be used yet, but if you send me your station I will generate a configuration file for you.
