Failed to initialize FW upgrade Framework

Just installed RS5.12.02 on customer computer, VC Starts and all seems ok until you try to syncronize, that fails with an unexpected .NET error - and when ever you start ANY vc - (tried many different robot models) it reports the following:

Can create a path in the staiton, but it will not syncronize!

Hi Thomas,

Is the error related to a specific version of RobotWare? Have you tried other versions of RobotWare, like RW5.12.01?

Do you see any difference using

  • Template system
  • System from Layout
  • System builder (ensure that you actively select matching drive unit)

No difference when trying any o fthe above, have not tried using 5.12.01…

Customer informed me that his operating system is Vista Media - could this be the problem?
(most likely since it is not a supported operating system)

But the VC Starts no problem, also - can not edit or view RAPID in Offline TAB - unexpected error whenever you try…

Hi Thomas,

I doubt that the OS is the problem. I would like you to log a PDD about the problem. Please include

  • an .rspag file with a failing system
  • a support log generated with Full Scan
  • a saved event log from the VC
