How to create a backup using the service port on a s4c+ controller

How can I create a backup of a s4c controller and what software do I use? I also tried pinging the controller from the x2 service port and x1 Lan (192.168.125.1) and I couldn’t.

I am trying to get the rapid code of the controller

I do not think you can make a backup via the service or lan ports.

Use the you to make a backup directly on the floppy or usb drive.

It is also possible to use ftp software through the service port ti could copy a backup from the hard drive (created with the TPU) directly to you computer.

You need to change your Ethernet from automatic to fixed up. The fixed up should be 192.168.125.x where x is not used by the controller. Been to long since I did this to remember what I used to use, the service port address is as you described. You may also need to reduce the communication speed and use a cross over Ethernet cable. We

Create a backup using the S4C+ TPU.

Connect the service port to your computer, and then configure your computer’s IP settings as follows.

ip: 192.168.125.82

subnet : 255.255.255.240

gate : 192.168.125.81

Use a dedicated FTP program to enter the following IP address : 192.168.125.1

You must enter any ID and password. Connection will fail if left blank.

For example, you can enter “abb” for both the ID and password.

Once connected, locate the backup folder on the controller drive and transfer it to your computer.
