How to find RobotStudio Online Manage?

RobotStudio Online Manage is available in the Windows Store accessible from any PC or tablet with Windows 8 and an Internet connection. Just search for RobotStudio in the Windows Store and you will find it.

By default, Windows 8 shows only the apps that support the language you have defined for your PC. Since RobotStudio Online Manage is currently only available in English, it might be that Windows does not show it to you. To resolve this problem and to be able to view all apps regardless of language, you need to modify a setting of the Windows Store, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/set-preferences-windows-store.

There is no official way to browse Windows Store apps in a web browser. So you have to have Windows 8. That is not really a problem as you need Windows 8 to run the app anyway.

But sometimes you may want to send the link to someone, and inspire them to get Windows 8 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Using robotstudio online manager, and its related applications(Calibrate,Jog,Tune), is it possible to remotely access the controller from an external network?

I would recommend using regular RobotStudio and connect with the “Low bandwidth” option. Then traffic is reduced to a minimum.
