Hi guys,
I’ve been assigned a task to integrate an ABB robot with a Cognex 8900 camera on an existing production line. The controller installed on the line is an IRC5.
I need to modify the existing robot program and add communication with the camera. I’ve never done this before. I have experience with FANUC robots, but this is my first time working with ABB.
Could you give me some advice on how to approach this and where I should start? Is it difficult to do?
Robot ABB is a master on the line.
