Line Tracking WaitTime problem

So with my Line tracking simulation when I execute a WaitTime instruction in my RAPID program the robot stops moving with the line tracking. If i use the exact same program in a real controller when I execute the WaitTime instruction the robot keeps moving with the line tracking. Why is the virtual controller not acting the same way as the real controller when executing the exact same program?

I have confirmed that this does not work in RS 2020.1 as well.
