Naming convention for datatypes

Hi - newbie here so finding my feet with conventions etc. Simple question: is there a still a list of suggested prefixes for datatypes? I’ve entered a realm of RAPID programming which is relatively new to me and the prefixes I’ve always used were from an extract of the ‘S4 Handbook of Methods’…(!) which was rather limited in scope. I’m wondering if the convention is still recorded centrally :slight_smile:

APOLOGIES for tagging with ‘virtual controller’ the interface won’t let me use tags that seemed appropriate! (any pointers to general community protocols gratefully received)

Hallo, there is an old document about this from the German branch of ABB.
Client Challenge.
I am working according to this from begin on.
But I cannot find this or similar documents in the Abb library.
Maybe your local representative will help you out?

Thanks for this Matti, a helpful update on mine. I think your comment about not finding anything similar is significant, as that confirms my search results. Perhaps it’s not seen as so important?! Let’s wait a while to see if there are any comments from ABB-related moderators… :slight_smile:
