I need to set up 2 PM systems. One of the systems has the 328 I/O board and the other system has the new 652 I/O board. When I build a system for the controllers using Robot Studio Online, I need to select 2 conveyors, 1 I/O board. Will the system account for the different I/O boards, because I don’t believe that there is a selection when building the system.
I think the default I/O board is still a 328, you will need to change the type under configuration->I/O->Unit (in the main RS Online tree structure).
OK. I wasn’t sure if when setting up the system initially, that there was something else to do. After I download and start the system, I will change the board type. I assume all the names will still come into the EIO.cfg.
Yes all the names are OK it is only the type of I/O board that is wrong.
The default Dig-I/O board is changed to d652 from RW5.07.03 and 5.08.
