Hi, has anyone encounter issues with Pickmaster 3.40 and the Basler cameras, where the error code 4329 warning trig/strobe time mis-match. Strobe from the work area was ignored. What I’m finding is irb340 is missing the product up to an inch, though the vision analysis shows the object was triggered correctly and scored >0.8. The trig/strobe cables are shielded and earthed. Since updating from an early vision 3.11, but maintaining robotware is 5.10.0. Robot on 100mb switch and cameras on 1giga switch, both newtork cards are giga. Has anyone encountered a similar program?
Hi,
According to the Release Notes for PM3.40, it requires at least RW5.12. I recommend you to use the latest, RW5.14.02.

Hi,
did you find a solution for this problem?
I have also this problem and I got no idea what can be wrong.
Two basic points to check to begin with:
A: Make sure you are connected to the controller over LAN, not the service portB: Make sure you select the controller network NIC in the options dialogue.
Hi,
2 robots, 2 cameras
What I’ve done:
- New Dell PC MT990, removed PCIE graphics card and used on board vga.
- Connect to Dell site and ran updater for latest drivers.
- Had a switch on cameras, but removed and ran cameras directly into intel pro 1000 PT dual NIC
- Robots on switch which was original before upgrade of PM3.11 to PM3.40, still current.
- Baseware is currently at 5.12
- Pciex4 for NIC, Pciex1 because it on board lan for robots at 10mb/s
- Check trig/ strobe signal condition with fluke scope and made sure noise free. Only thing on scope is pulse from robot IO card to trig/ strobe cameras. This voltage is about 16-22vdc, the pulse width is a few msec. All cables screened and earthed at 1 end.
- Performance driver which was on the cognex configurator was not used, previously I had used and later I uninstalled the drivers. ethernet is less than 2% loading, images processed in 9ms. Trig settings for 35mm, the other at 80mm.
- PC configured at default settings.
- PC runs win7 32bit OS
- NIC settings for 1 gb/s and 10mb/s as static settings, not auto neg.
- In network settings, removed any connects to past network nodes. Refer to microsoft article on help site 269155.
- Because cameras are connect to same NIC different ports, used 2 different IP address eg 192.168.101.10 and 192.168.102.10, 255.255.255.0
