Problem with IRC5 OPC Server

Hi,

We have ABB IRB1410 Robot with IRC5 Controller. We want to connect to the controller through IRC5 OPC Server and get connected to Read and Write of paramters. While we are able to read all parameters values with Softing OPC Client as well as Movicon SCADA Client, we are unable to write any values.

We have setup all relevant settings in the OPC Server as well in the controller for full access rights. The problem still persists.

Can you please suggest some course of actions to take care of this problem.

What versions of RobotWare and OPC Server are you using?

Also the controller must be in auto to write values, because the OPC server has to be able to get Mastership.

Thanks for your valuable information. After changing the Robot mode to Auto, i was able to write the values through the OPC Server. I Apologize for the delayed reply.
