Problems with SAT import

Hi !

When importing a geometry from a ACIS .SAT file with RS 5.08 the import fails for some geometries. Import stops after 50% of the progress bar and sais “Failed to import xxxx.sat”.

Several geometries were generated with the same export settings in ProEngineer, some can be imported, others can’t.

Is there any way to get more imformations about why the import fails, or are there known issues when importing SAT in RS5.08 ?

A good tool to see if it’s a acis problem or RS problem is to download the “Hoops 3D partviewer” from spatial (It’s a viewer for acis files).
