Robot as masster on the station

i want do station with robot as master without plc. I want do this on profibus but I don’t know ow I can add another node to robot, like external I/O or communicate with another machine. When I use PLC S7300 I add a new fole GSD. Could I do this same on robot IRC5 ??

Hi,

you must create a *.bin-file this a software called DP-Configurator from Softing. Copy this file to the home-folder at the controller and insert in the eio.cfg f. e. this line

-Name “Profibus1” -BusType “PBUS” -ConnectorLabel “Channel 1 (M)”
-CfgPath “HOME/ROBENTK.bin” -RecoveryTime 10
