Robot studio Omnicore IO Engineering issue.

For the last 20 odd years or so i have created IO in the robots using the EIO.cfg file, loaded it using the “load Parameters” and all has been good.

I’m now working a new Omnicore RW 7.19.2, and I’m find that although I can load the file the same way works without errors, the IO is not appearing in the robot itself.

I know there is now the new IO engineering application, to which I have used to configure the Safety IO, but surely I don’t have to input the IO into the robot this way too.

Can you import a EIO.cfg file? and if not then why not?
