We have IRC5 controllers with DSQC 600 computer units. I will be upgrading from RS5.14 to RS 5.61.
If my understanding is correct, I will be installing RS 5.61 and RobotWare 5.15.05.
What about OPC Server? Should I used OPC 5.61 or an older version like 5.15 ?

Yes, RobotStudio latest release for 5.15.x is RobotStudio 5.15.02, if you are running anything later than that you should upgrade to the latest version of RobotStudio (right now it is 5.61) and install the 5.15.x RobotWare on top of that.
Specifically with the 5.15.05 release that you are talking about, RobotStudio 5.61 and RobotWare 5.15.05 are bundled for an easy download/install.
Since RobotStudio is backwards compatible within the IRC5 generation upgrading to the latest version of RobotStudio is always recommended, then you can keep and install whichever RobotWare that you have in your controller population on top of that.
Regarding IRC5 OPC Server the requirement is that you should have at least as much as the latest version of RobotWare in the controller population that IRC5 OPC Server will communicate with.
The recommendation however is that you should run the latest version, it is backwards compatible within the IRC5 generation so IRC5 OPC Server will work with 5.15.x and 5.6x alike.
Remember to take a backup copy and save your OPC config file to a different location before upgrading OPC Server, for some strange reason the install overwrites it. (Been trying to get R&D to change that for ages to no avail).
On my Win7 machine it is in [C:\ProgramData\ABB Industrial IT\Robotics IT\IRC5 OPC\OPCConfig.XML]

On the download page, there is RS5.61 and RobotWare 5.15.05. I didn’t realise that downloading Robotware 5.15.05 would include RS5.61 as mentionned so I downloaded both. (5.61 for RS and 5.15.05 for Robotware)
The using of Robotware title for RS and Robotware is a bit confusing but there are worse things in the world

Oh, agreed, me I’d like a prompt with the option to download one or the other.
Or as is the case sometimes, one RobotStudio with multiple RobotWare since that is a very normal case.
