RS Library Component Files

Hi,

I’m just wondering which app is used to do this library component files with kinematics for use in RS. I mostly get only vrml files that can only be imported and placed, but not seperated nor kinematized, but stored as a library file. Which app does ABB use for their models to get kinematics inside (and get sliders within RS to move certain defined parts)? Which to seperate model data?

Hi,

RobotStudio 5 don’t have any tool yet for creating kinematics.

If you have RobotStudio 3x with the PlusPac can you use its Kinematic Modeler to create a mechanism.

RS 3x library files are possible to import to RobotStudio 5.
