RS5.08 Event I/O connection

Hi does the I/O connection event work in RS 5.08.01. build 2040

I understand that this event can simulate the behaviour of a PLC ?

When I fill out the information the finish button is inactive as if I have I have not completed.

The help file only appears to have refernence to this and not examples.

Yes it should work in 5.08, at least it did for me.
In what step can’t you see the Finish button?
You need to go thru 4 steps to make a complete I/O Connection
