Run Chain SS and GS

What is the difference between Superior Stop (SS), and General Stop (GS) run chains?
Also is it possible to activate a delayed, (smooth stop), usjing hese run chains?

I believe that the system parameter default value for SOFT GS in an IRB 4400 or larger robot will be set to TRUE, which generates a delayed, controlled stop. All these settings may be changed by the user as necessary and safe.
