S4 robots on RobotStudio 5.14.03 ?

I’d like to know, if it would be possible to create a station with old S4 robots on RobotStudio 5.14.03?

Hi,You can only use IRC5 systems (Virtual Controllers) in RobotStudio 5.xx.
But I know that some people who has S4 robots use RobotStudio 5.xx anyway. If the robot model you should use also have been sold with IRC5 controller (e.g. IRB4400), you can setup an IRC5 system for your robot. The RAPID language is the same in S4 and IRC5 (except for some process instructions that have been changed in IRC5), so if you convert the I/O-file (EIO.cfg) to IRC5, you can use RobotStudio 5.xx to program your S4 robot, but only if the robot model exist in RobotStudio 5.xx.
