I suggest in Components tree to collapse parent tree and select it, if you type left arrow key.
And add sub-menu: “Collapse to parent” and “Collapse All”.

There is already a “Collapse Browser Contents” (= Collapse All) in the 
menu.
Typing left when on an un-expanded node should probably select the parent node (but not collapse it), like in Windows Explorer.
