System Crash

Hi,

I have set up a system with 3 external axes (XYZ axes) using RobotStudio 5.08. The mechanism used for the external axes is created from imported CAD drawings. Sometimes the station containing the mechanism does not open, and the following *.dmp file is generated

Does anybody know why RS keeps crashing?

Hello,

The most recent dump files seem to be Direct3D related, specifically the coordinate system in the lower left corner. I recommend you to

  1. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card
  2. Disable the coordinate system (Tools → Options → Graphics Appearance)
  3. Switch to OpenGL renderer
