I am looking for clarification on the internal behavior of “View Robot at Target” versus “Jump to Move Instruction” in RobotStudio.
what exactly happens in the background when View Robot at Target is enabled? Is it simply a wrapper around ‘Jump to Move Instruction’ that automatically executes whenever a move instruction or robtarget is selected, or does it use a different mechanism to reposition the robot?
I am asking because I am seeing SafeMove-related alarms when using View Robot at Target in a Virtual Controller. trying to understand the underlying difference would help determine whether the issue is related to how RobotStudio updates the robot position or how the Virtual controller safemove is configured.
