Virtual teach pendant in RS 5.08

I recently tried to load a program manually with the virtual teach pendant in RS 5.08. I made sure I was in manual mode but then all of a sudden the teach pendant tried to switch to automatic mode. I did not want auto mode at the time and tried to switch back to manual. Then I tried to “move PP to cursor” but it wouldn’t let me and I got event message 20051.

Has anyone ever had this happen?

Hi,

Have you tried to switch mode with the RobotStudio Control Panel instead of the flex pendant?

To open the control panel, right click on the system in the Elements Browser and select Control Panel in the context menu.

I discovered that T_ROB1 must be set as active to avoid this problem.
