BootLoader Version and Flex Pendant

Hi guys,

I have 6 IRC5 robots and the newer ones come with a BootLoader version 2.08 in the Flex Pendant and the older ones come with a BootLoader version 1.14f.

Can I switch Teach pendants between the Older and the Newer robots?

Does anyone know the difference between the 2 teach pendants? Except from the Hold to Run buttons that have been removed is there anything else? Faster Processor, more memory, etc?

Yes you can interchange them. I believe the memory is the same but maybe a different processor architecture?? It may take a couple of restarts of the device to allow it to install the correct firmware from the controller.
