Cad Converter (.stp file import) not working with Robot Studio 6.00

Hello everybody,

I am having a bad time in importing .stp files generated by Siemens NX (tried both STEP203 and STEP204).

Recently I updated to RobotStudio 6.00. With RobotStudio 5.61 everything worked (almost) flawlessly. Step converter licence is ok and will be still valid for the next 11 months. You can find attached the error window.

Any help?

Without import features working I just cannot work and this is getting quite tedious.

Hi,
This is a problem we have seen with versions of RS that have been upgraded from 5.x to 6.0, the solution so far has been to uninstall RS and perform a clean re-install of 6.0.
Remember to try with the 32 bit version of RS as well, in some cases the import of .stp files has worked in 32 and not 64 bit.
We should have a solution to this issue in the next release.
