Force Control Simulation in RobotStudio

Hi,

A new ABB robot 4600-60/2.05 and its force sensor Type 660 will delivered to my company recently,

I was trying to simulate the Force Control in RobotStudio in order to be familiar with the FC funciton.

I tried to create system from layout, but no matter which RobotWare version I choose, it keeps showing “The combination is not supported.”

I got 2 questions,

  1. Is it possible to simulate the FC function in the RobotStudio?

  2. If so, where can I find more information or example? All I got now is “Applicatoin manual: Force Control for Machining”, but it didn’t mention about simulation in RobotStudio)
